Ingredients

Sauce

  • 1/4 c soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp ginger grated
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1/2 tbsp cornstarch

Chicken

  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1 lb chicken thigh boneless
  • 2 green onions sliced

Instructions

Sauce

  • In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, water, sesame oil, brown sugar, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic, cornstarch, and sesame seed and set sauce aside

Chicken

  • In a large bowl, whisk egg, cornstarch, salt, and pepper together
  • Trim fat and cut chicken into 1 inch pieces and toss into egg mixture
  • Add cooking oil to skillet and heat over medium heat and add chicken into a single layer
  • Allow chicken to cook until golden brown on each side
  • Pour the sauce over top and toss chicken until sauce begins to thicken
  • Place over bed of rice or noodles and garnish with sliced green onions
